Where I Am Licensed to Practice

Ronald Brilliant is licensed to practice law in California, Idaho, and Nevada, and is admitted to practice before the federal courts in each of those states. Because immigration law is governed by federal rather than state law, I am also authorized to represent immigration clients located anywhere in the United States, including in Florida, Oregon, and Utah.
Brilliant Law Office P.L.L.C. does not hold itself out as licensed to handle general state-law matters in Florida, Oregon, Utah, or any state other than California, Idaho, and Nevada. Any reference on this site to those states relates only to federal immigration representation or to the 2YouLaw™ Program described below.

Florida — 240 SE 23rd Avenue, Boynton Beach, FL 33435. This location is used for federal immigration matters and 2YouLaw™ Program meetings only. It is not a general-practice Florida law office, and I am not licensed to practice Florida state law.

I do not currently maintain a walk-in office location in California. California clients are served by phone, video, and in-person meetings arranged through the 2YouLaw™ Program described below.

Regional Phone Numbers and the 2YouLaw™ Program

For convenience, this site lists several regional phone numbers, including a national / immigration line, an Idaho line, Northern and Southern California lines, a Nevada line, and federal-immigration-only lines for Oregon and for Florida / Utah. These numbers are provided so that clients and prospective clients in those areas have an easy way to reach me. Listing a regional number is not a representation that I maintain a physical office or walk-in location in every area associated with that number.
I do not maintain a physical office in California, Oregon, or Utah. Phone numbers associated with those areas connect you to my practice as a matter of convenience only, and are not a claim of a local office in that city or region.
This is by design, through the 2YouLaw™ Program. Distance should not determine how you are represented: I work remotely and virtually with clients whenever that best serves the matter, and when a matter calls for my personal, in-person presence, I travel to meet the client. This is especially useful for clients located where qualified local counsel can be difficult to find, and for clients who specifically want to be represented by me regardless of distance.

Virtual Office Availability

In addition to my physical offices, I offer virtual representation — by phone, video, and secure electronic communication — to clients throughout California, Idaho, and Nevada, and, for immigration matters, nationwide. Virtual representation does not require an in-person visit to a physical office unless your specific matter calls for it.
